At the beginning of the work, we cook 100 grams of lentils, which we soaked two hours before with water and salt, with a little water and set aside. Lentils should be half-cooked, not fully cooked, so that they are not crushed during the rice cooking stage. After that, we wash 2 cups (320 grams) of rice and add 1 teaspoon (4 grams) of salt and water in a bowl for about a We pour water in a pot and put it on the heat until it boils. Then we add the rice to the boiling water. Then we allow the rice to boil and half-cooked with high heat. When the rice is soft around and the middle is still raw, add the half-cooked lentils that we have drained and mix gently, and then drain the rice. After the rice is drained, pour water on it to wash off the excess salt. Put 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pot and put it on medium heat. Then we put the desired pot on the bottom of the pot. Here, we have used 100 grams of potatoes without the skin, layered. At this stage, we pour a layer of drained rice and then add cinnamon powder and black cumin to it. We do this in layers until the rice is finished. Then we put the lid on the pot and put it on medium-high heat so that the water between the rice evaporates and a little steam rises inside the pot. Then reduce the heat and let the rice brew for 40 minutes. In the last 15 minutes of cooking, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the rice. Finally, pour the brewed saffron on the rice.

Next, add the chicken pieces to the onion and fry for 5 minutes, then add a cup of water to it, and after the water boils a little, reduce the flame and put the pot lid on for 45 minutes on a gentle heat.
